For some strange reason, I have always been fascinated by viewing period images of captured aircraft, armor, and other vehicles remarked and used/tested by their opponents.

There exists an old and obscure publication, but with some very cool images titled UNDER THE RED STAR. It approaches this facet of the subject at hand.
