As George Washington stated in his farewell address...."stay out of foreign entanglements". What might be important to some other Country doesn't necessarily mean it's to our benefit.
As far as the American students not knowing the 'Battle of Britain' There are a lot who are lucky to know what and when the Civil War (war of northern aggression) was. History is not taught much anymore. And what is has to be taken with a big grain of salt. Now that's a crying shame. Ron
