Did you know some British Uni students did a survey of random people in the streets in the USA and out of the 200 asked if they knew what the Battle of Britain was, only 34 knew the answer.

A crying shame.....

Well those two aircraft didn't face off in the battle as the Bf 109 is a later model-an F or early G model of late 1941 or 1942 vintage whereas the Spitfire is a Mk I or II.
