My old next-door neighbor, Flying Officer John Frazer was in 3 Beaufighter crashes. One of which was a result of a mechanical fault.he Aussie made Beaufighters where a dangerous plane to fly, due to the crappy mfg

Beaufort, Beaufighter and Mosiquito in Australian Service. Stewart Wilson.
I was lucky and put a number of Wilsons publications into my libary many years ago.
They sell for drug money these days.
This one is on Amazon for $150.00

Finally, a P-38 ! The Japanese pilots would called them "Twin Headed Devil", during the war.
One of my favorite U.S. fighters of WWII.
