For me and my inexpert eyes, this does look like an original Juncker. Let's see what others say.
Kind regards,
MG.
That should be solid zinc 1.23.3 Juncker ASA, but to me that one actually looks more like a Staegmairs fake of that variant than genuine Juncker 1.23.3 ASA.
Best regards,
Franko
I guess you did the right thing if you were not feeling comfortable with the purchase. There will be other and better opportunities in the future.
Hi Nicola,
Original Juncker example has different base plate of the catch and although circular it should be smaller, peak of the pin should be sharp also. And I dont like how obverse of that badge is looking, details are too soft. That pits which Martin has pointed out are very strange too and I have noticed them only on Staegmeirs fake, there are no any pits on genuine example.
Best regards,
Franko
Hello Franko,
Juncker in him solid version used different pins, catchs and hinges.
In some original examples used larger base plate for the catch. Here two Juncker Gab with larger plate.
For the tip pin is the same, we can see some badge with sharp terminal pin, like mine, and someother without the sharp but than smooth. The datails imo aren't soft enought like, as you wrote, Staegmeirs fake. Usually this tipy of fake has a withe strange finish, furthermore, the dangerous Staegmeirs fake hasen't the edges on the reverse insted of the Juncker that started the thread...
We need to see better pics for sure but imo im not too worried about this badge.
All the best
Nicola
Here the original badges with larger base plate and smooth terminal pin
Here one with smoler plate and sharpened pin
