I think whats throwing it off is that the wreaths dont appear concentric therefore the eagles head is not central, but whether this is an original trait of the real badge or this is a replica id leave that to the other more informed members here, personally id think twice about buying but i could be missing out on a good badge.
I don't like this, where are the veins to the Oak leaves?
Also this looks to be hand cast as the details appear soft and there is no evidence of ejector marks common with die cast badges (although not always apparant, the ejector marks would at least confirm the badge isn't hand cast)
Finally, images of Wiedman badges are hard to find but the ones I did find online had different hinge and catch setups to the above example.
I stand to be proven wrong but in any case, this isn't a badge i'd be putting money on.

It looks good, the single cut out between bayonet, wing and swastika seems to be a feature of this maker.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
