It looks very much like an S&L to me but wait for a few more badge guys to take a look.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Yes,an S&L for me too. Nice find, one of the best makers of any award IMO. Stewy
Hi Joachim, the die flaw is interesting. I think it was a progressive die flaw through wear/usage. Stewy
Hi Stewy,
i am not sure about this die flaw.I never see it before at ASAs from this maker. You could be true with your opinion through wear/usage.But i hold it in the hand,at the moment and the finish (colour) is over the die flaw.
Thanks for help and showing Stewy.

Hi guys
How everything depends on point of view - the least desired maker of TR badges due to a fact of undoubrfull activity in post war production and frequent uncertainity : what was made when .

Hi guys,
i have a second and third look at the badge. In my opinion a fake badge. Not a postwar badge from S&L,only a "very good fake"!
Not only the die flaw is bad.Catchplate to short.Barrelhinge to thick.Gußlunker(sorry,in german) at the backside.....
I compared it with badges in the book about ASAs,from Frank Heukemes.Beware of this badges!

Joachim
