If you think the price is ok, go for it. Without a rough idea of the price it's difficult to say to you "buy it!". It's a zincer, not tombak/buntmetal. Stewy

It's known as the 'Unknown Maker #10' in Frank's book and is closely associated with the other unknown '4 rivet GAB' design although they are slightly different indicating that at least 2 dies were used. Note the crimped in hardware that has been copiously covered in solder, typical of this type badge. Finish on these is often poor, as the badge above shows by the almost entire lack of it's low quality silver wash.
'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
Last Entry - For God's sake look after our people.'
In memory of Capt. Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Lawrence Oates and Edgar Evans. South Pole Expedition, 30th March 1912.

For me it is unknown maker #10 (1.27.2). This maker is not so common IMO. Try offering 85 Quid. Worth a go. Stewy
