    Thanks, Harry! I was beginning to get worried because nobody would comment, lol...
    I always like to ask for opinions on badges with a flat catch -out of caution- as they seem to be prevalent on postwar copies and '57 awards...

    I have to be honest, but based on those pictures, it's not one I'd be comfortable with. It look too crude, and rightly so Glenn the flat catch..........I've only ever seen those on Reproductions. These, for me, are one of the hardest badges to distinguish. JMO but I would like to see some better photos

    I have to agree with Johnno on this one. It shows 3 flaws on and next to the 2nd oakleaf down on the left that are known to be found on copies of the S&L hollow design GAB. The 2 'bobbles' on the leaf and the bad repair to the damaged die just inside the wreath as highlighted below. The rear set up also apes a known type that S&L used, but these flaws and the poor quality, rough cut outs and overall softness condemn the badge for me.
