I am always amazed at how good condition these finds are after years in the water or a bog.

looks wicked, nice find
Id like to see one in pristene condition pulled up like the tanks in the bogs
Yes it amazes me also that this stuff is still out there!
There were tons, and tons, and tons, of equipment thrown into the battle all along the Eastern Front. One must remember that for almost two years, 90% of everything the German nation could churn out went east. I wish I could afford to spend a year or longer digging in Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, etc. There is much more to be found but it's rusting fast!
What a beauty! Got any more pictures?
We need to Ask Anton about other pictures

Best thing to do with these things if they are not going to stabilize them for later restoration, is sell them to collectors or museums in the west. It is sad that something that escapes the cutting torch for so long ends up being destroyed. What ever became of this one?
Definitely amazing at the amount of material still buried and out there. I'd be in trouble if I lived any where close to that kind of area as I would be spending all my free time looking for stuff.
