I wonder who's fault that was?
I thought the days of leaving stuck AFV's were gone, because now these things cost a hell of a lot of money
Thanks

...not even these day´s. In 1944 the price for an Panter was abouth 800 000 RM (Reichsmark).
Convert this price to the year 2010 and you will see that a tank at all time was very expensive.

hi joe whares that at?

Interesting thought, but I don't think there is any way the U.S. Army would leave that tank there. With the barrel, reactive armour, turbine engine, etc. If they can't get it out, they'll finish it off with a few thermite grenades. Our let a predator practice shooting a Hellfire at it.

like this one
the US army finished it of with a misile
After watching Discovery chanel showing Abrams being rebuilt from scrap, even that wreck has potencial!
It never ceases to amaze me how metal and composites can burn.
I have a feeling that this would be recovered and all sensitive items accounted for I have seen worse recovered
I'm fairly sure they'll pull that one out. If I'm not mistaken I've seen that photo before, it got stuck and then just kept slipping and slipping. Just one of those crappy days.
