Nice to see that the right folks got this one. I hope the Sherman tanks in a swamp outside of Kiev are treated as well (www.theserpentring.com). It is amazing how well artifacts are preserved in fresh water in these areas.

Many thank's for posting them.This exactly what i love to see and it does'nt matter if they are German, Russian, US or British we just want to see them saved and on display where they should be.They have layed out there as a silent reminder of war for many year's and done the job well.Now time for their glory day's

Other than the grenade, was there any other live ordnance within the vehicle?
congratulations to the team that excavated it ,and got it back to the surface , that`s one hell of a task !! brilliant to see . are there any updates on the restoration ?
