    Hi guys, does anyone know what colour Arty shells were, either French, British or American? I tell you for why, I have just dug out a piece of metal from a German belt which was really dug in and wondered if it was a small piece of splinter from a shell. The colour of it is blue. Just a thought guys, you never know

    Usually there different colors, depends of stuffing. But your is cooper ring from a shell or just acoat of a bullet+ depends of thinness
