Hi, I am tempted to say it is part of an airframe? But I don't know for sure and it is just my first thought.

    Cheers, Ade.

I hope you are right ade, its rather light for the size the local guy who lives there says there are german bits of aircraft in that area as there was dogfighting there but im very skeptical, I thought it was part of airframe too...

If it is airframe it will have stamps all over it. It could be airframe, but it could equally be part of some aluminium step ladders.

Only way to know for sure is to check the thing for stamps....

I was thinking the 'airframe' piece could be part of a tower, for a radio antenna or radar setup for example.
