Default Found bullett casings in Brittany France

If any one could help me I would be most grateful. i was in Brittany in the forest at Paimpiont/ Brocilande and detected 9 bullet casings .

The casings have some markings on the base E on one side opposite side D then followed by 3 on one side and 5 on the other.

This is the only casing that is really clear, the other one as F onside and C on the other, cany see any numbers to distorted.

    Its 155mm in length

    Thanks Tony

You need to post up some pictures to enable us to ID the cartridges

Also, take a look at the sticky thread in the Ordnance forum called 'a guide to headstamps' as it will give you an insight into the markings commonly seen on small arms ammo.
