Help with possible aircraft dial remains
Hi all
A friend of mine has recovered this dial 'face'. He believes there may have been an aircraft crash site near where he was searching, (he's an MDer, not a military relic collector), and I have offered to help ID the part. No stamped part numbers on it that he can see.
Part of a compass or navigation calculator ? Odd how it has teeth around the outside......suggests it was part of a moveable dial.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Steve T
