    I know this wheel,Didier......I've already seen it somewhere else,hehe...
    Seriously,i don't think it's a military relic.Imo,something related with farms machines or firefighters tools

    Kettenkrad track wheel maybe.There were a few diffrent spoke arrangements for these .
    Only a punt.

    As a former firefighter,i do confirm that the wood was the main material,until we realised it could burn,hehehe.
    The detail that amaze me are the 4 holes in the wheel.Not enough resistant to connect firmly a wheel for a military use..Just my 2 cents..

    I've checked and it's not a Kettenkrad track wheel as they only had one retaining nut not 4 stud holes.
    Worth a look.

    Definately civilian for me.It's not designed strongly enough(at least for the attaches...) to be a military device
