The JagdTiger at Aberdeen hasn't been cut, JT's don't have a muzzle brake. Nice items....I wonder how many more are out there?.

Thumbs up Re: Interesting Relic: Slice of KongsTiger barrel

Where did that barrel come from? Tiger? FLAK 18?
Any chance of buying a slice?

Also the 128mm barrel is in full recoil - hence the appearance of it being shortened.

This is a photo I took of two of my kids back in the 70's at Aberdeen.

Not to be a downer or anything, but all that can be said about this piece- beyond it being pretty cool - is that it was a Pak/KwK 43- and a number of vehicles mounted this weapon in addition to the anti-tank gun; they all fired the same ammunition so the land-groove pattern would be the same and I'd think the barrel diameter would be too. So it could be a Ferdiand/Elefant, Jadgpanther, Hornisse/Nashorn, or a Pak43 in addition to possibly a Königstiger.
    Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...

danno thats a jagdtiger not a king tiger it had no muzzle brea kand the barrel loos shorter becasue the whole thing is backed up inside on its mounts its a complete barrel however il add a pic of some of their chopped barrels additonally the jagdtiger had a bigger barrel i think if im correct a 128mm shell was fired hope that helps
