Interesting to see if after the 52 has been fully identified via serial numbers etc ... whether the aircraft was brought down before dispatching it's payload.

.. (Was it delivering paratroopers in the first waves ? or was it full of supplies after the initial battles - trying to land ??)

Also .. an interesting Dutch website on aircraft recovery ..

One is located at the Frankfurt Int. Airport in Germany. Of and on, it flies around taking paying guests on a sightseeing trip.

I remember this aircraft being recovered 3 or 4 years ago. At the time, it was reported that the remains of a german paratrooper were found onboard.
