This is a genuine JU 52 Panel.

I've always wanted a Winter Camouflaged tail fin, but I don't have thousands of $$££'s to spend

So, I thought I'd "kill two birds with one stone"

Snow Camouflage from Luftwaffe Directive Sheet 27.

"Snow Camouflage is applied in the winter months only, with aviation lacquer 7126.21.

Paintbrushes are best used to apply the colour....

The wing and fuselage markings must remain visible."

Pictures 4 and five show an actual wartime repair from front and back

I think this shows how a Winter JU 52 would have looked like..

I see you know your aircraft panels, I saw this in a museum in Malta last week, but very annoyingly there was no information displayed with it

Do you think its JU 88 or JU 87 perhaps ??

    Cheers

Nice one Mike, I never gave a 109 a thought. The date ties in nicely with the air battle over Malta !

The panel looks very small for it to be a genuine tail fin from a JU52. Would I be correct to assume that this is a panel that you have cut to shape and painted? Here is a genuine tail fin...
