I get a litle irritated at these types that shout "looted". All is fair in love and war... and when the germans tended to shoot prisoners as frequently as they did ... what the helll is with this armchair chivalry ?. If an item as this medal can in anyway be verfied to one deceased individual and the current owner wants to bestow it pon relatives...that's awesome !. But dang how is it a given one must do so ?. I've known veterans that went through horrific combat and to them as I stated...all is fair in love and war. I respect those survivors more than some pithy armchair morality.
    Rant off.
