    Default panzer MKIV turret armour

    Hi members
Would any one know the approximate weight and length of an edged armour panel from the right hand side of a Panzer MKIV turret, the straight panel, usually with Balkan Cross at front

I know the formula to work out the approximate weight, but need the length x width x gauge in metric of the piece before I can figure it out, so probably not much help.

    I'll shut up now...

    Regards, Ned.

Well, after changing your mixed measurements to metric, and assuming the armour is around 600mm wide (not far off when looking at comparative photo's) then you're looking at (a very!) approximate weight of 80kg.
