    It's in south-eastern California. Nearest town would be Vidal Jct.

    There would be a few hotrodders/ratrodders that would like that car body.looks like a Model A ford?

    I think the cost of a helicopter to get it out would discourage most folks. It's 5 or 6 "rugged" miles from the nearest dirt road. That's why no one else has found it. It was probably old in 1942. Guessing it belonged to a prospector or miner as I found an old mine nearby.
