Is that a Corsiars air intake ??? AWESOME PICTURES !!! Sadly your right about the rust eating away at this stuff, maybe you should start collecting as you say another 10 years you may be kicking your self. Keep up the great work
That I don't know. I have located maybe half a dozen aircraft dump sites. I have identified at least two complete wing sections from hellcats. Some of the dumpsites are piles of misc aircraft parts that have been
bulldozed to one location. a mix of Japanese and American planes.
Fascinating Thread...I'm torn between maintaining things as they are and saving a few relics from disintegration...You are a fortunate man, that's for sure! Thanks for such incredible photos!
cheers, Glenn

REGARDS AL
We are the Pilgrims , master, we shall go
Always a little further : it may be
Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow
Across that angry or that glimmering sea...
With as much WW2 aircraft restoration going on I am sure a few organizations would be interested in looking through those aircraft dumps.
Absolutely fascinating photos! I'm sure I'll never make it to that part of the world but seeing photos like this certainly make me think I should look into it!
Thanks for sharing them.
