Article about: In my 'Panzefaust' thread, severin referred to an abandoned T-34 in Central London, near the Old Kent Road. Yeah, right ! - I thought, but a bit of Googling revealed the truth......gotta che

    One gppd thing is its getting plenty of paint layers to preserve the metal,with london land prices so high i would have thought the last thing the locals and the council want is an old tank,perhaps the tooting popular front could get involved

    The same thought occurred to me.....externally the T-34 appears to be in quite good shape with suspension, roadwheels etc all looking sound ( unlike some other NW Europe relics ). It could certainly be made to look very presentable. The fear must be, as always, that one day it disappears to ascrapyard.
