REGIA AERONAUTICA RELICS in the fields of Rhodes

As promised, here are some more photos of Regia Aeronautica relics findings, after several years of searches in the island of Rhodes Greece, around the ex Italian airfields bases of Maritsa and Gadurras.
From the almost buried parts, half rusted and partially destroyed which recovered from the fields, until an RA issue blanket in perfect condition (offered generously by an old woman in a village), every thing is a challenge and an attraction for the Aviation Archaeology “digger” in this marvelous island ..!
More over, the recovering of these relics is always a great satisfaction for the salvage of usually rare items which simply are treated as “useless scrap metals”..
