Since now, i was not able to confirm any thing by the Luftwaffe losses for that day (15/04/1941), in Greece. But even they went down with the Henschel , after 70 years now there will be almost nothing left from them, in this shallow sea side.!

    Hello,

I am interested in data for my book about the precise crash location and old tellings from the people living nearby. Was the fight eyewitnessed?
Thank you for the nice pics and the reply.

    Regards,

    Hello Aviator,
The exact crash (or rather ditch) site is at the beach side under the Platamon castle.
The official sources for this incident is recorded in the Official History of Royal Hellenic Air Force and in the great book "Air war over Yugoslavia Greece and Crete 1940-41" by Chris Shores.
    Cheers,
    John
