It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

In a way, I hope this is preserved and not restored. The original paint and markings are fantastic.

I think we can forget the Gold Train..., this will be the best tangible piece of WW2 history to come out of Poland this year.
'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
Last Entry - For God's sake look after our people.'

In memory of Capt. Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Lawrence Oates and Edgar Evans. South Pole Expedition, 30th March 1912.

OK...kill me for saying this, and I'm not saying the vehicle is a fake but some things don't add up.

why do the tires say Made in Germany???

why no rust? Just sand? Yes it looks like there is some sedimentary concretion but is this typical for cold rivers in this region to have no rust?

I don't know which is why I'm asking.

Are there other possibilities? A surplus vehicle dumped in the river "less than 70" years ago that was rediscovered?

    Just thinking out loud.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

I'd be worried if they said made in West Germany!.....
