    I was trawling the net and think this might be a new find for you all to appreciate. No real pics as yet, but the $200,000 price tag must mean it is a fairly intact piece I would think.

    I would have thought an in tact Tiger would have a much higher price tag !

    I would think it would go for alot more than 200000$.It must be in very bad condition .It the falaise pocket in the village of Trun it use to have a panzers graveyard but was sold 5 years ago to a German museum.

    Peoples saying that the Pz V which is currently placed in German museum is exact the same tank which was recovered there in 2004 year

    Just found this, while looking for more info on this Tiger, "In January 1944, one of the Leibstandarte's s.SS-Panzer-Abt 101 Tiger commanders, Michael Wittman, was awarded the Oakleaves to the Knight's Cross for his actions in halting the attack of an entire Soviet armoured brigade. The division was transferred to the Cherkassy area at the end of January, where it was assigned to III.Panzer-Korps, a part of 1.Panzer-Armee."

    i think tigers in combat could well have more details it lists every area of operation and includes to its best the details if possible of every lost tank ill try and dig the books out if i can and see what i can find out

    The Panther Ausf A No 243 is in the Auto + Technik Museum in Sinsheim, Germany. Details of it's recovery are on:
