we were told that our grenade was ww1 turkish but it do not look like the one in the pic you have just sent.some more pics of ours attached

Definately Turkish. Early models had writing on them. yours is a later model.

The hole looks threaded to screw ignitor device into it... maybe not black powder after all...

yes it is threaded any more info on the grenade would be great
