Hi everyone this is my first post on this site.

These are our finds from the weekend from an american training site. Found in open fields and on hilly bush/jungle.
This is my first major dig of such a significance site of this era.
    4 Mk2 grenades, i defused and 3 live.
Plenty of live 70year old .30-60ammo some still in clips for springfileds and M1 Grands and some singles in the ground
    plenty of clips
Mortar carrying case base (looks like a 3 leaf clover) for 81mm, M43 mortar (see B&W photo middle case that holds 6 mortas)
    Chin clip for a helmet
    US knife

    Hope you enjoy the pics.
(added more pics- showing the first grenade find of the day - would say over the 70 years possibly the farmer knocked top off grenade, M1 Grand clip rusted in whole with live ammo, 70 year old fox hole in bush.)
if you have any questions let me know and ill try answer what i know. please dont ask me exactly where it is because i am held to secrecy.

Those clips are for an M1 Garand. Neat finds, and thanks for sharing!
