1939 dated Luftwaffe saxophone
Recently picked this up and wanted to show it here. I believe it is silver plated brass with Mother of Pearl accents. It's Cased and complete with accessories and appears to be numbered like a weapon. There's a DRGM marking as well. I was told this is a B flat tenor sax.
If found another one that is similar here:
Even found a similar sax in a period photo and the music sheet holder looks identical. Hope you like it!

Beautiful Piece, a Work of Art you could say...You never fail to amaze me with your unique discoveries, William!
It's marked as being issued to the Fliegergruppe Brandenburg, btw...
Can you play the solo from "Baker Street" on it for us please William? That would be great!
'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
