Adolf Hitler lithograph from Jersey, Channel Islands

[JERSEY 34]

This framed picture/lithograph of hitler was originally hung in the Pomme D'Or Hotel here in Jersey used by the German's as Naval headquarter's during the Occupation. A local chap along with others entered the Hotel on the 9th of May 1945 and took this picture and kept it until his death. My father was able to buy it from him for my 40th birthday present.

At this time the picture is in my storeroom, but as there is interest I will dig it out and get some more pictures for you. From memory there is a piece of paper on the back saying it was donated by a RAD unit or something similar.

If I remember right, for My 40th birthday, I went out and got ripped and brought a stripper home....in retrospect, I think I would have been much better off with a Hitler litho! Nice gift, Damien! William
