Yes sir! That's the one. Wittmann said Hitler likely had it made for Bruno Brauer for his extensive service and valor. With that, I had to throw a few bids at it. I have only ever purchased one thing from liveauctioneers.

The problem is that Braüer was a good fighter for AH, but there was also many others, an so many plates for Galland, Molders, Hartmann.....Why only one ?

As usual, those idiot fakers couldn't even get their spelling right: They misspelt "Unternehmen" with an "m" at the end.

Furthermore, the rank designation "Generalleutnant" is to be written as a single word and not hyphenated, and for some reason, the word "am" (on) was nonsensically capitalized and followed by a period that is not supposed to be there.

Let's not even get into the general cheesiness of the thing and the question why a presentation piece honoring someone's achievements in a specific military operation should be presented almost one and a half years later. (The Crete invasion was in May 1941.)
