Article about: Hello!! I found this one today among some other items... Does it stand a chance? I always thought that porcelain is relatively safe but you never know!

    I know.... Just noticed that the 9 is dancing a bit! Any more opinions?

    My concern is the pristine finish. Seems unlikely the finish could be so perfect after 77 years. Usually you get cracks in the glaze. I've never seen anything like this either. I would have my doubts about this being made in 1941.

    The "9" is not dancing...it's laughing. Never in 50 years have I seen anything remotely similar to this.
