    Just a side note....
Snyder is one of the biggest known crooks selling fake $hit anywhere.
Make that Was one of the biggest known crooks...

As for the Speer piece in question, the engraving looks suspiciously crisp and sharp for having been handled, polished and used countless times...

I would believe it can be difficult to prove that these spoons has belonged to Mr Speer. Do you have any other items like this spoon Sir?

Here's a picture and description from the Yannes book. This is supposed to be the known set, but I'm sure he had more than one set....

I did a little research and think we may have a problem. The maker mark on the back of your spoon shows it's a style '21' spoon. We'll, unfortunately on Mr. Snyders website, there's a Hitler spoon made with the same style '21'. See pictures.

Style '21' more than likely was a common style for the laymen during that period. There are a lot of engravers out there faking these things. I generally stay away from anything engraved for this reason. Roll stamped is a whole different ballgame and some mistaken roll stamped for being engraved, which your example is definitely engraved.

My Lord...just when you think it couldn't get worse. Apparently, the entire Third Reich team must have gotten a group discount from Wellner. Snyder was selling Himmler and Gorings flatware in the same style '21'. More carnage from the Snyder website.

Unfortunately, Mirek51, I think you have your answer....sorry.
