Mar0367: I am not an Allach collector, my interest in the company being limited to its place in the SS industrial complex. But I think that the comment Erich S. posted is probably right in its implication that the item you have is counterfeit. The reason I say that is because the stylized SS Runes and the company name Allach are not sharp clear, as is usually the case with Allach items. Here are some examples of how the logo usually looks. Thankyou for your comment ,I completely agree with your summary, I didn't think for one minute I had a lost treasure , what confused me the most was the fact that the runes are so poor what I mean by that is surly a faker would at least make them look more real ,if you know what I mean, the fact is I have never seen runes like this plus I have never seen this style of dish either so I was 98% sure it wasn't right

These do little to educate and can make a member feel ostracized.

I can only agree with you Chris, on this.
Any young new members need to be helped with identifying fake and original militaria.
Collecting should be fun and shouldn't be put off from joining this forum.
We all need advice every now and then.
