Any idea what these are? Hunting items.....

Guys,
Does anyone have an idea what these two items are? They aren't mine and these are the only pics I have. They're made from some sort of pewter type alloy.
They're obviously some sort of hunting/shooting item but what would they be used for or used as?
To my mind they look like unmounted plaques but would like to find out exactly what they are if possible.............?

Hi Adrian, you are spot on with your ID. They would have been added to a wooden plaque sometimes with the addition of a dedication plate under it.

Thanks Ade, would they have been an award of sorts or merely for decoration? Any guesses as to the age of them?

Hi Adrian, they could have been either. But I tend to go with the prize use.

The metal and finish is certainly consistant with other similar pre war items.
