hello people my friend picked this up at an auction and has asked me to post it on here he brought it as something from the spanish civil war im not sure its from that era??? any suggestions on what you may think it is would be great!

The insignia on the front is not Spanish but I think you will find it is from Iraqi Army?

Thanks Ade I did say that to my friend as it has the colours on the badge and Arabic writing underneath but thanks for your info.

This is indeed Iraqi very odd I have no idea of the use of this but it is very neat probably for an officers of some sort

i think the iraqis used it as a wishing ball.... they wished they knew how to fight!

No clue as to what it could be for, but I do Like it and wouldn't have minded picking it up myself! A neat find!
