Article about: Here's a nice Bamberger Reiter bust made of porcelain that I just picked up. The Reiter was pictured in many SS publications because Himmler thought that the Reiter was King Heinrich.

Thanks Horst, as one writer wrote, the Bamberger Reiter is an Aryan looking East for more lands to conquer.

Well, they went, they looked, but they certainly didn't conquer. I really like your new piece.

Erich - I indicated that this was Heinrich the Loewe(lion) my mistake it is a bust of Heinrich the Fowler who was much earlier than the Loewe - It would have been nice if it was a bust of Heinrich the Loewe as he was the founder of Munich where it all began -

I knew who you meant Horst, no matter who he really was, the Reiter is an imposing and historical figure!
