    Good afternoon fellow collectors,

I'd just like to share with you my most recent purchase, a wall bust of Bamberger Reiter with seal stamp on the reverse.

I've been looking online and I can't find any similar items - has anybody seen one before with this stamp?

    Thank you, Glen.

Very nice and the Reiter was an important figure in TR lore. I have seen the the wall busts and yours is in nice condition.

    Thank you Erich,

Can you please give me anymore information on the stamp itself on the reverse?

    Thank you, Glen.

Glen, I may have spoke too soon. Taking a harder look at the stamp, it is similar to those that I have seen on reproduction items. Need to see a better pic of the stamp to be sure.

Thank goodness - it got damaged on the way to me.

    What's the giveaway?

    Thank you, Glen.

These wall busts were made of either porcelain or terra-cotta and the stamp on the bottom has been seen on many reproduction TR art pieces and on none of the original pieces.
