It is political and not a Rail piece at all.

Pierre,

I am a horrible handyman and getting this on the wall so it sat level between the windows should have required a level, tape measure, and screws. When I was done I needed paint, spackle, a ladder, hammer, and band-aids.

So give me a bit but the bird was heavier than I anticipated at about 15 pounds, the rear breast and roundel are hollowed but the wings are almost solid, its a beast. I will get you some photo's in a day or so.

Thats a great big bird, I found a photo of a 'little bird' that looks to be from the same maker but with the head facing the other way and a not cut out swaz.
