Can anyone tell me if these SS cufflinks and pin are real?

These came out of a foot locker I purchased at an auction several years ago. It contained an M38 helmet, 2 swords, and several german pins, medals, etc. I sold the helmet, the swords and pins I still have. I have been told some of the pins are fakes and some are real but Im having trouble finding any info on these SS cufflinks and pin other than a dealer at the JAG show in Louisville told me it is a 'paste set'. Any help would be apprieciated, Thanks.

70s era fakes. Here they are previously disused. The pin is also bad.

Does it matter that the ones I have the SS are white instead of silver or is that just a varient of the fakes? Thanks for your help.

I guess that answers my questions. I didn't want to resell them if they were fakes. I think I'll just hang them up to remind me not to buy things I no nothing about.lol. Thanks for your help.
