Carved wooden eagle

Hi all...i took this carved eagle...homemade piece ,suggestive but not a great value,,,in the back there's an engraving...can you help me to decrypt??

May be Iwonkz 1944...i saw some other wooden sculptures signed in this way on internet...may be from Poland
