3 1/2" diameter table medal in heavy silver metal, front reflects a worker with a national eagle and city/state shields - the reverse reads " For Outstanding Performance - Craftsman Chamber - of Oberbayern". Has the city emblem of Munich(capitol city of Oberbayern), the Munchner Kindle on the bottom. A very heavy and impressive item.

Hi Horst, that is a great piece. I really like it. It has that mid to late 1930's quality art deco look. Today, most people not interested in history see these pieces and think what's the big deal. In reality, these awards were a huge part of the plan in getting the working class German citizens to believe that the NAZI party represented them. These working class citizens had been ignored for years by the political system and the upper class. The awards, medals, and tinnies were the beginning of Dr. Goebbels ingenius propaganda machine.
