One for the closet nazi.
Reused food sack perhaps.
Whatever its just an opinion.
It does appear to be a re-used army grain sack underneath. I'm not a furniture specialist, but if I had to take a wild guess I would not be surprised if this is of late 1940's or 1950's origin. It dosnt strike me as especially Art Deco, and its certainly not Bauhaus (the Nazi's didnt like Bauhaus at all) and I think it would be very difficult to ascertain that this was of Third Reich origin.
I agree, a supply-sack...how odd. From this day forward I will check underneath every chair I come across, lol...
Interesting but I would agree with the gents above someone has recycled an old bolt of cloth or possibly there was a surplus of these available early post war .
Always on the look out for WW II Canadian Helmets and Cam nets to add to my collection.
Found a Canadian Mk II Medics Helmet and yes I know they are about as rare as hens teeth !!!!!
Haha i feel kind of dumb now . Now that you're saying its a grain sack, but its looks like it =)
Oh i didnt know that the nazi didnt like Bauhaus , still much to learn!
There were no stamps so its probably fake . He wants 1000 euro for it..:S
Thank guys !
That's f#cking hilarious!
