Picked these up with other items any thoughts
Hello thrutheroof. The top one looks poorly made. It lacks detail and the eagle isn t really identifiable to any particular organization I can think of. The bottom one certainly looks art deco but the markings on the bottom are puzzling, are they in dedication to a person or supposed manufactureres marks? Either way it seems forced and sloppily done. I do however like the other items you ve posted beforehand. What's at the end of that chain in the corner of the picture? Best regards.

Don't tease us now brother. The bladesmen will be disappointed to see a chained SS dagger hidden amongst a desk ornament thread. No disrespect meant to desk ornament collectors of course.![]()
That swastika desk ornament may be TR era, though not professionally made. It rather looks like something an engineering student might have made in the workshops for a school project. Is it all brass and nickel plated or is the swastika alloy?
Feels like all brass ... no alloy
I don't know how these stated "facts, opinions" in regards to these items can be deemed "fantasy pieces" from one or two pictures, unless it is stamped on the item "Made in China". Mementos like these were created for a decade 1933-1943 or similar time period. Because the eagles head looks like a pigeon ? Well so does the eagle head on a Schwerin Uboat badge or a Methner Berger police helmet decal. Really can't say either item is fantasy unless the metals, materials used to construct these items are proven post war accepted material. Absolutely no way of determining period made or post war. There is nothing "concrete" or "textbook" to compare it to
"When 10 men tell you you're drunk, you better lie down."
