I agree with Curt . Soft details with casting imperfections IMO make this a reproduction . Although mine has been broken in two places and repaired at some point you can see the difference in Quality between them .

Raz, that's a shame about the broken wing & replaced marble base.... but it's still a nice eagle you have there as they are difficult to find in any condition.

Thanks but its not a replaced base , it is a boxing trophy . I like to think his wife, girlfriend , threw it at him and is why it ended in three pieces .hahahaha

My mistake, from the photo it looked to be a small replacement base.Here is a page from a period catalog found on-line that shows one like yours (second from the left).
