Not something that would appear to be 4th Reich IMHO. That said, I don't know what it is. A patriotic pin maybe? Unique catch style though.

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

I was thinking the same about the catch. At some point you think you've seen everything there is and something turns up that surprises you. Here's what I know for sure. This was in a grouping sold with a dress bayonet, HJ knife and Geco mauser from a veterans son today by my friend.
Buy me and your screwed twice, Just kiddin, hope there is an answer ..TC G

If we are guessing I will say Goering's toothpick.
I still say it's a pin (or broach) of some type. Either way, I think it is period. There isn't the plethora of RZM, SS runes or skulls all over it

If the shown brooch is old or new is sometimes difficult to say
and even more it is easy to say it is fourth Reich. Lots of items
like such were offered.
Here a part of a sales-list from an Austrian seller from 1932/1933:
The numbers 51, 52 and 53 are brooches refered to as Brosch-Nadel.
In manufacturers catalogues one can find more of them with all kinds of symbols,
like TD for gymnastics and such.
