    You need underside of base and up into neck area.

    The bust looks to be a good bronze brennlack finished zinc piece by Hedwig Maria Ley. There maybe a foundry mark on the smaller part of the pedestal that says WMF Gesunden Str.

    The dedication appears to be giving thanks to a RAD company in work district 20 (Westphalia South/Dortmund) dated March '38.

    All in all a very well conditioned piece imo.

    Here's a random shot of the interior of a zinc/pot metal based bust by Ley. Not the best, but it shows the base material and applied bronzed finish nicely whilst also showing what the interior casting should look like on an original.
